Fundraiser for the Vicki Kalogerson Family

Hi, my name is Crystal, and Vicki Kalogerson is one of our long-time teachers at Cuddle Bugs Childcare Center in Rosemount, MN. Vicki spends most days loving children in our program. She has worked in several classrooms for us; most recently, she has cared for children in our Early Preschool program. She loves to welcome families at the door, is quick to make any child smile, and loves to do kids' hair. Over the years, Vicki has lovingly cared for hundreds of children.

Recently, Vicki's family has experienced the sudden and unexpected loss of her 19-year-old son Braedon. Vicki has two other children; Zachary (age 23) and Kayla (age 12). Additionally, Vicki's significant other, Cole, and his two children, Peyton (age 12) and Emmette (age 9) were all an important part of Braedon's life. Braedon was 19, healthy, and full of life. The unexpected loss of a child and a life cut short is tragic, and the family is still unraveling how to cope with the emotions surrounding this loss.

All of us at Cuddle Bugs want to express our deepest condolences for Vicki and her family. It is important to us to support Vicki and her family during this time. We hope to offer her financial support so that she can stay home for several weeks to heal and to simply be present with her family. As a program, we are working on ways to support Vicki's family, but we know many of you would like to help as well.

Funds raised will be used to help with lost income for Vicki and Cole for the month, as well as help with costs of a celebration of life, which the family is actively planning.
