Fundraiser for the Pineau family

Hi folks, I kindly ask for you to take a second to consider helping out a friend of mine. Matt Pineau is an amazing family man. He is dedicated to his family and to his church. Matt has an incredible wife Mary-Grace and two young boys, Elias and Boaz. They have a third little one on the way as well.

Recently, Matt had a fall and hit his head. At first, the injury and subsequent debilitating headaches and extreme fatigue were thought to be the result of a severe concussion. The recovery took him off of work.

The incredible part of this story is that the injury caused Doctors to complete several tests and scans of Matt’s brain. What is truly miraculous, is that they found a large brain tumour as a result of the scans that would likely not have been detected otherwise. Doctors were able to find that the debilitating headaches were not just caused by the fall, but by the large tumour growing in his brain. Doctors are confident that it is not cancer, however, major surgery was not able to remove all of the tumour due to its proximity to the cranial nerves. As a result, Matt has a long road ahead of him. We will know more once the post-surgery swelling goes down.

Anyone who knows Matt knows that he is an incredibly hard working man. The initial injury and subsequent tumour diagnosis has forced Matt to take a significant amount of time off of work. Matt is not the type of guy to ask for help. He would never set something like this up on his own. Matt and Mary-Grace have had their income drastically reduced as a result of being forced to take so much time off of work. My hope for this fundraiser is that it will help relieve some of the financial pressure from them while they face this journey together. That way Matt can focus on healing and his soon to be expanding family rather than worry about finances during this difficult time.

Matt’s faith has been unwavering throughout this journey. He has been an inspiration and a blessing to everyone in his sphere of influence. I kindly ask that anyone who can help Matt and his family please do so.
