Hi! My name is Patrick Presencer. I am the Writer, Director and Cinematographer for The Lift, a short film I have been developing for a number of years now while I worked on my filmmaking. Over the past few years, I have done a wide range of projects, from videography and gaffing commercial work in Copenhagen to Cinematographer on an indie film shot on the isle of Mull. I shot the film in Mull with my camera operator and gaffer, Arran Totten, who is also working on The Lift.

What is The Lift about?

A simple favour turns into something much messier. The Lift is a dark comedy about guilt, sexual identity, and the kind of conversations that only happen when there’s no way out. It’s tense, bleakly funny, and doesn’t go where you think. Help us bring it to life.
