Fundraiser for the Collins family

Mary Bridget Collins (nee Carolan) died peacefully in her home after a short illness on the 6th April 2021. 8 days later, her husband Edward Francis Collins died suddenly.
Mary and Edward were carers for their son Eddie, who is on the autism spectrum. Eddie requires additional supports. As Eddie has always lived in the family home, he would like to stay there but with his disability payment alone, he will not be able to do this. His sisters Heather and Christina are not in a financial position to help Eddie carry out his wish. Eddie also requires 24-hour care, and his sisters are not in a position to provide this care either.
We are fundraising for the costs of Mary and Edward’s sudden funerals and anything extra will go towards supporting Eddie’s future.
The news of the tragic passing of Mary & Edward within days of one another was a major shock to our community. We hope everyone can pull together to support the family.
