Fundraiser for the B.M.P. Oncology Dept.

Hi; my name is Arlene Gibson McKellar. My husband and I have enjoyed owning and operating Garage Ding's Inc. VIP STOP, for the past 22 years.

Life has now thrown us a hurdle and that is Breast Cancer. I have had my surgery and have now started chemo treatments and then will have radiation. It will be a long road to recovery but I am up for the battle. I have so much to fight for as I not only have the business but husband, family and our adopted 6 year old grandson.

Please come and support us on July 23rd at 2:30 p.m. at the garage. 510 Knowlton Road, Knowlton. Refreshments will be provided.

Since I am going to lose my hair anyhow; I will be having my hair cut off in order to donate it for a wig for children. Our hairdresser; Christina Bushey will then give me a very short buzz cut.

HERE IS THE KICKER; How many of you will pledge money for (hubby) Billy and (head mechanic) Geoff to have their heads shaved? It is going to give new meaning to "Head Mechanic", lol. They better bring hats or sunscreen.

We also have a few volunteers that will be having their heads done also. Are YOU up to the challenge? If so let me know before so that I can arrange for another hairdresser if needed.

Also I will have temporary at home pink hair dye kits donated by a local company, A.I.L. available at the Garage if you would like to add some colour to help support this cause.
