Fundraiser for the Akuffo Family

We come to you with heavy hearts over the unexpected passing of our dear friend, Fred Akuffo, just two days before Thanksgiving at the young age of 49. Fred was an unwavering believer in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and an incredible advocate for God’s Word—he will be greatly missed. Fred was genuine and kind, and generous with his time. Those who knew him well appreciated engaging in the deep conversations he thrived on, and all benefited from his humor and quick wit.

While Fred made everyone feel important he, above all, was a dedicated and loving husband to his wife, Lateya, and father to their children, Seth (19) and Amira (16). Next to God, caring for his family was Fred’s top priority. We want to honor his memory and, with your help, do all we can to support the family.

The Akuffo family is grateful for the prayers, meals and acts of love they’ve received as they deal with their loss. This is a difficult thing to go through but we know God can do anything, including multiply our gifts. So, we ask for your generosity in contributing to this GoFundMe to help the family take care of medical bills and funeral costs. In addition, with a son in college and a daughter in high school, donations will also be used toward college funds.
