UPDATES ON BETH

Hello everybody.  I just want to make a update on Beth's cancer progress.  The past Wednesday she went back to the er for vomiting for two hours straight.  They did a CT scan and found that her intestines still had a small blockage in it causing her problem again. They inserted a NG tube again. I think this is her 3rd time with it in during her chemo treatments.  So they wanted to transfer her back to The James  for further treatment and testing.  She finally got a bed at The James Saturday morning and was transferred.  So the decided to do her PET scan so get more information on what is going to be next for Beth.  As the Dr looked at her scan they found that the cancer was not gone from her earlier treatments and they saw something on her Brain. For them to see what is on her Brain  they wanted to  do a Brain scan and a spiritual tap. So for two days we had to wait for the results of the two new test. AND WE WERE RELIEVED to find out there was nothing wrong with her Brain ,nothing was found. They told us sometimes the PET scan shows stuff that really isn't there. That's why for the other tests were done. So now Beth is going to start a new chemo therapy starting  Friday to hopefully get the cancer gone. So wish her luck.  Keep her in your thoughts and prayers so we can get through this difficult time. 

Update.  Beth is back at The James hospital for her second part of her chemo treatment on the regiment. She should be there for about 3-5 days as long as her body can  Expoliate her medication.  So wish her luck. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Beth is home tonight with me then off to the hospital in the morning for her second part of her chemo.  Thoughts and prayers for her to get through this part fine.

  

 Updat#5.  Beth finally got to come home for the holiday. She and the kids are staying at her moms house so I can get this house in better shape for her to stay here. She still had a long road ahead with the treatment.  Goes in Friday  to do labs  then back in on Monday  for the nest step of her first series of treatment.  This stay might be longer it only will determine on how her body dose with the treatment  and cells recover.   Still please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.   

Update #4  Beth still has her GI tube in. They are waiting on her .. So far only 3 .  She just had another spinel tap. And hopefully her forth bag chemo tonight. IF she   and gets the GI tube out maybe she gets to come home before Thanksgiving. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. 

Update #3  Beth has started her chemo treatment on Thursday.  But it has made her feel sick to the stomach.  They put a GI tube in to help with the stomach contents but that's not helping Sotheby's are moving her to a different floor where she can get the help with this issue.  Other then this little set back she is getting throw this.  Please keep the thoughts and prayers coming.

We are also trying to help raise money for rent and bills as both Beth and Brian will be missing work for treatment and doctors appointments. Any amount of help will go a long way! 

Updat: Beth was in the hospital for almost a week trying to get answers they did the biopsy and removed  fluid from her abdomen.  Now we wait to find out what kind of cancer she has so they can treat it accordingly.  And yes we have a long road ahead of us.   

Update #2:  Beth was diagnosed with Lymphoma.  Cancer of the lymph node system.  

She is back at The James  hospital  for attest 3 days getting more tests done and her first round of chemo therapy.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers for her to stay strong and get through this.
