On Sunday, the 8th of June, Matthew, alongside Steve's friends, are coming together again to honour Steve's memory and continue his legacy of resilience and compassion.

Steve's determination to take on the challenge of the Blenheim Palace Triathlon back in 2018, despite his cancer running through him like a ping pong ball (his words, not mine!) I will always be incredibly inspired and proud of him. His courage and enthusiasm in the face of all the challenges cancer gave us are a testament to his strength of character and the love he had for life.

This time, I have set up a JustGiving page for the Action Kidney Cancer charity in Steve's honour.

Matthew's decision to take part in the triathlon again in his dad’s honour is a beautiful gesture of how much his dad means to him. By coming together to take on this challenge, Matthew and Steve's friends are not only raising funds for a worthy cause but also celebrating Steve as the brave, courageous, funny, and kind man that he was.

I know Steve would be bursting with pride over Matthew and his friends for their efforts and dedication to honouring his memory in such a meaningful way.
