Fundraiser for Stephan Catalan

We are sad to share more bad news in 2020, former Bolinas resident, friend and neighbor to many, Stephan Catalan was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in early November.  His cancer was discovered after suffering from some back pain and was shocked to realize the pain was being caused by cancer that had migrated to his spine!  Stage 4 right out of the gate! He is currently undergoing a number of tests and scans to determine the best course of action, but he is unable to work and support his family.   

Stephan, his wife Nicole and their two young children now live in Lake Tahoe, but still have strong ties and family in West Marin.  It’s a very scary and emotional time for everyone as they enter this new phase of life.   There are so many decisions to make and costs to bear.   Stephan needs to focus on spending time with his family and his treatments, not worrying about how to pay the bills.  So we are coming to the community and his network of friends for financial support as they navigate these unimaginable circumstances.  

We know 2020 has been challenging, and the holidays are upon us, but if you are able to donate to Stephan, any amount is welcome and extremely appreciated.
