Fundraiser for Stacie Melka Chandler

Donation protected
Hi my name is Jennifer Lunsford and my best friend for life Stacie Melka Chandler went through a very horrific experience on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024. Her husband had been battling depression and some other health issues. Unfortunately, she witnessed him taking his own life along with burning almost everything they owned, including their home. I am reaching out for others to help support her in a time of need.

There was a small insurance policy on the home and his life. Given the circumstances, I believe neither will be paid to her. So, financial support is going to be needed. I pray that family, friends and the greater community can assist her in this most difficult time.

Stacie is not one to ask for help and I fear she is going to need some after her shock has worn off. The funds collected during this fundraiser will help to pay for funeral expenses and help her to begin rebuilding something of a normal life, including therapy.

If you are unable to assist financially, please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Donnie was a good man that, unfortunately, must have succumbed to all the common pressures of depression and lost what must have been a very hard battle.

You can see in his obituary below that he was actively involved with his community and family.

One friend said this about Donnie “Very sad guy was like a father to so many of us”
