Shelby Morse is a sweet and spunky 12-year-old who loves Jesus and helping her community. She is always quick to volunteer for church and our local food bank. She is a member of a local shooting team and is an avid hunter. While hunting with her dad on November 27th, her shotgun accidentally discharged and shot her through the foot. She was transferred to Duke by helicopter and has undergone one surgery already. The doctors were pleased with the surgery, but their main concern at this point is infection. She has at least one more surgery to go, and a long recovery ahead. She is loved by her church and hunting community.
