Fundraiser for Shawn and Stormy
We are setting up this fundraiser to help offset some of the costs for Shawn and Stormy and the kids from the fire and damages to her business and livelihood.
Over the summer Stormy had an electrical fire at her farm in Perryopolis and they have been living in a hotel since June waiting on repairs to restore power to her farm and business.
During the storms in Fayette County her farm sustained damages and the utility company entered her access road and left a gate open. Her horse, donkey, and 32 cows escaped. Her daughter’s horse and donkey were recovered over 5 miles away. 2 of the 30 cows returned home but the rest of the herd is missing and each day
the chances of finding them decreases. This is a substantial loss to her farm and business and her livelihood.
On Friday this week my son Shawn’s house burnt suspiciously and is a total loss. Investigations are ongoing and videos are being examined.
Shawn and Stormy are members of the Lions Club in New Alexandria. Stormy and Shawn help the local kids with their power wheels for demolition derby and Stormy is a sponsor and donor for local demolition derbies and 4H program.
This family has been through so much the last couple months and they just need a break and to get things fixed up.
