Fundraiser for Sergio Arellano

Donation protected
Hello , my name is Alynda Garcia and I am Sergio’s oldest niece.

It hurts to write this as i’m still in disbelief but my uncle was taken from us early this morning driving home after watching a boxing match at a friends house on 12-19-2021 in Glendale, Arizona. Me and my family are still unsure of what exactly happen since it’s currently under investigation but what we do know is that it was a car crash and sadly he passed on impact at the site.

Sergio was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson, co worker, friend, and many more. To me, my uncle was more than that, he was the father figure in my life. He took me to all the dodger games & took me to my first Raider game in Oakland. He made sure I was always okay with anything I needed and he even went as far as to bring me a puppy from AZ. I loved visiting him in Arizona because he would let me drink a slurpee and bag of cheetos for breakfast. Visiting him in Arizona was the highlight of my year. I loved seeing him in Arizona so much that I actually applied and got accepted to Arizona State. However, I stayed in Los Angeles and I am now currently in nursing school. I am so happy to know that I had the chance to spend my last birthday in Arizona with him. He was so happy I finally cleared my schedule to fly out there. I miss him so much. Such a funny humble kind hearted person I wish he could just call me one more time.

My uncle loved his family very much and was always helping anyone with anything they needed, he was raised big on family orientation. He loved hanging out with friends and going to comedy shows or going out to a restaurant/bar. He was a proud die hard dodger and raiders fan. He also loved going to mexico soccer games. He also enjoyed traveling to different baseball stadiums and seeing new cities.

I am making this go fund me on behalf of my grandma, mom, and rest of family. This was so unexpected especially before Christmas in which he was actually suppose to drive to LA to be with us. We understand the hardships everyone is currently going through with Covid-19 and Holidays so any small donation such as a 1$ would help. We plan on bringing him back to LA when we receive more information and will look into funeral/burials/memorials. We will update as needed for further information.

We thank you for all your condolences. Everyone who knew my uncle will tell you nothing but good things. I know he’s with me and my family in spirit and this is no where near easy but we will get through it in time. Thank you for reading.
