Hi, my name is Savannah, and I’m writing this on behalf of my sister to tell you a little bit about her story.
My sister Santana, is 23 years old and was diagnosed with classic Hoskins lymphoma in January 2024 after getting a biopsy on an enlarged lymph node in her neck in December 2023. After travelling to St.johns for more extensive testing, she found out that it was stage 3. Since then, Santana has been travelling back and forth from Grand Bank to Burin, to receive chemotherapy. Alongside the constant travelling to Burin, she also occasionally has to travel to St. John’s for more extensive scans to see how her treatment is progressing.
Since the beginning of her journey Santana has been through a lot and has had some big life changes, but she remains strong and she has a wonderfully strong support system who is with her every step of the way. Despite being strong and having a great support system, an unexpected diagnoses like this, unfortunately came with some financial stress. Travel costs such as gas, food & hotels have added up quickly and continues to do so.
Any help at all in Santana’s situation to help alleviate the stress from these costs would be appreciated to the fullest.
if you’d like to make a donation and don’t like to use go fund me, then you can also email transfer her directly. Just contact me for her info
