Help Sandy Kick Cancer!

For those of you who don’t know me, I am Makenzie, one of Sandy’s many grandchildren. For as long as I can remember, Sandy has always been the glue of our family. When things get difficult, she is the first to be there with a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, or to send up a prayer. Her strength is inspiring. In December of 2021, she had a heart attack and it shook our family to the core. While it was absolutely terrifying for all of us, she came out on top as strong as ever. We have spent countless hours thanking God for keeping her with us and bringing our family closer together.

In October of 2022, Sandy was then diagnosed with liver cancer, another unimaginable hurdle in getting her health back. Since her diagnosis, she has undergone many different tests and has just completed her second round of Y-90 treatment. Once again, our family is praising God for His faithfulness and for allowing her to remain here with us. Her doctors have been incredible and we have really felt Jesus surrounding our family with His peace over the past two years.

With all of that being said, the medical bills have started to add up. I am creating this fundraiser in hopes of being able to help provide a little bit of relief for her and my grandfather, as well as to keep our loved ones near and far up to date. My hope is that this will alleviate the financial stress and allow her to continue treatments and focus on getting better.
