UDPATE - 7/28/21 - Ryan is incredibly grateful for everyone's support but as we know, recovering from a serious injury is not cheap. His injuries have made him unable to work and he still needs our help to get his life back on track. On Saturday, July 11, 2020, Ryan was singing for a band at Jake's Roadhouse in Arvada. This was the first show that Ryan had been a part of since the beginning of the pandemic. While he was on a break outside, he and a bandmate witnessed a biker gang fight which escalated into a shootout. Ryan rushed to help an injured person and was clubbed on the back of the head. He has suffered a severe brain injury and is currently in a medically induced coma.
Anyone who knows Ryan is not surprised to hear that he went to the aid of another despite the risk to his own life. That's just who Ryan is. Not only is Ryan a loving husband and father, he is described by friends and family as a gentle giant who is also well known as an amazing singer and songwriter. Ryan has been a part of many bands over the years, in addition to his solo music career.
Unfortunately, the people responsible for this heinous act are still at large, if you have any information about this crime or those responsible, please contact Arvada PD.
