As many of you know, on February 8th my dad’s father passed away. What you might not know is that he was recently was diagnosed with Stage 4 throat cancer. Five days a week he and his wife get up at 4am and commute from Taylor to San Antonio for medical treatment. Only the strongest willed people could handle what he is going through right now. On top of running his own business, he has several animals at home he helps tend to. He was also taking care of his mother and father. With his father passing, he will continue to take care of his mother and is now responsible for his father’s medical bills and funeral expenses.
One of the most important things that he taught me is to help anyone and everyone that you can. He is always the first in line to help others, but the last to ask for help. I have seen him do tremendous things for people he knows and for people that he has never even met before.
While my dad won’t ask for help, I know he needs it. His medical expenses continue to increase daily, so if you can contribute anything, anything at all, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
