As many of you know, we took in 5 stray/ feral cats last winter and decided to keep them as our own. Unfortunately there are still many cats hanging around our neighbourhood (minimum 7 that we see regularly) Rico’s Refuge helped us every step of the process last year. We will be working with her again in the coming weeks/months to have the rest of the cats trapped, spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, ear tipped and meds if needed then re-released. The rescues in town are all full and generally people can’t take in new pets so helping keep these fur balls as healthy as possible and prevent them from breeding are big steps in the right direction.
