Ricky was in a body surfing accident in Los Angeles on September 4th and suffered a serious neck injury. He is in UCLA Hospital and is receiving excellent care. His mom, Dawn, is with him.

Ricky is currently a freshman at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and was a 2023 graduate of Montgomery Blair High School. He is an accomplished athlete and was captain of the Blair Varsity Baseball Team and a swimmer and role model on the Daleview Swim Team. He is from Takoma Park, MD.
