Fundraiser for retired K9 Glock surgery

Retired K9 Glock is in need of a rhinoscopy as he has begun to sneeze blood. Without the procedure, veterinarians are unable to determine the exact cause, which could range from anything from a foreign object to a tumor.
Retired K9 Glock served the citizens of Yuba County for 6 1/2 years before his retirement last year. Retired K9 Glock had a decorated career, no doubt saving the life of his handler and other deputies countless times.
Once a K9 is retired, the handler purchases the K9 and assumes financial responsibility, however we do not believe that once a K9 is retired, he should go without care due to the handler's inability to pay. It is no secret that veterinary bills are increasingly expensive and any donation would mean the world to us, Glock, and his handler.
We are attempting to be as transparent as possible with this fundraiser. The cost of the procedure would be between $3,000-$4,000. We are asking for $5,000 to cover any potential hidden fees or surprises that may arise. Every penny will be donated to the care of K9 Glock. We appreciate your consideration.
