Fundraiser for Renal Dialysis Unit, QEH, Glasgow

Donation protected
My name is Lou. I was born with multicystic dysplasia kidneys. During lockdown I had to start renal dialysis. This keeps me alive but it is not pleasant.

Since I started it I have had 30 admissions. The first time I had sepsis and died. The amazing doctors brought me back. They say I am a superhero. The consultant told us it was the highest temperature he had seen and someone surviving.

I'm 21 and am now on the transplant list. I hope to get a kidney soon which will transform. my life

I am hoping to raise £600 for the renal dialysis unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow. This will go into a patient fund. This helps people like me to get some items they need if they are admitted to hospital

Funds are very low and I want my fellow renal patients to be able to access this fund

The staff on this ward are amazing in supporting the people they care for. I get dialysis three times a week for 6 hours.

Please help an amazing fund. Every penny will go to supporting renal patients. I know times are hard but all contributions are welcome. Please don't feel you have to. You can help by sharing my page.

Thank you.

Lou
