My sister-in-law, Mai, and her sister, Tuyen, are currently facing a heartbreaking and difficult situation. Their father Hoa, who is visiting from Vietnam, has suffered a brain aneurysm and has been recovering in the hospital since July 28th.

As you can imagine, this has been a shocking and devastating event for Mai, Tuyen and their family. Their mother is by their father’s side every moment, and Tuyen has had to leave work to support her parents through this incredibly challenging time. Unfortunately, their insurance coverage has run out, and they are now facing mounting medical expenses.

Mai, Tuyen and their family need financial support to cover the costs of their father’s medical care, including treatments and hospital stays. Their insurance covers $150,000 and now they are left to pay the remaining expenses. Currently, the bill sits at $192,855 ($42,855 outside insurance coverage) and continues to climb. The hospital stay cost is $4,585 each day and his timeline for recovery is 1-3 months. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference and provide the peace of mind to focus on what matters most—being there for their loved one in his time of need.
