Fundraiser for Pediatric Ewing's Sarcoma

I am raising money for The Little Warrior foundation by running the Boulder Rez Marathon on August 13th.

My incredible nephew Pedro was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in his femur this year. Since then, he has been undergoing chemotherapy and has had most of his femur removed and replaced with an internal prosthetic. So many times through treatment Pedro has expressed hope that through treating him, doctors would learn something new to apply to the treatment of other kids. He’s only 7!! We’re constantly amazed by him.

Pediatric cancer research currently only gets 3.8% of all cancer research funding. The Little Warrior Foundation raises funds to find a cure for childhood focus, focusing specifically on Ewing Sarcoma. The funds raised by the foundation are granted to researchers and institutions developing high-potential therapies for pediatric applications.
