On Monday, November 21 2022 at 2 pm our grandparents were t-boned by a drunk driver in Bohol, Philippines. Their car flipped 3 times and our grandfather was immediately sent to the hospital, fully paralyzed from the neck down. The drunk driver was a German tourist who was let off with no charges. We will continue to fight for justice and are working with a legal team to ensure he faces the consequences of his actions.

UPDATE: 

Due to the seriousness of our grandfather’s injuries, he went into cardiac arrest on December 30th and suffered irreversible brain damage. After the arrest, he was revived four times and fell into a coma. 

On January 7th, 2023 at 10am our Papa’s heart stopped beating. Our grandmother was by his bedside until his last breath and our family has finally returned him home after a long fight in the hospital. Our papa is resting in peace and we know he is in a better place now.
