Fundraiser for our brother Oussama Kobeissi

As many of you know, and for those who don't, Oussama was diagnosed with a brain tumor back in May 2021. In June, the doctors performed a 12-hour surgery and removed approximately 85% of the tumor. Doctors were not able to remove the entire tumor due to its location near the brain stem.

 

Unfortunately, his condition kept worsening throughout the months. He had to do another surgery to place a brain shunt to release fluid buildup in his brain - which has permanently damaged his optic nerve - followed by 6 weeks of radiation and multiple seizures.

 

Between the damaged optic nerve and seizures he has lost most of his vision (complete vision loss in his left eye and just able to see shadowy figures in his right). He is currently immobile and unable to do anything on his own. He has three daughters currently in college and his wife works part-time in order to take care of him.
