Fundraiser for Ocean

Ocean is a beautiful Dominican baby boy born in Las Terrenas with West Syndrome. Ocean and his family are asking for your help with his ongoing medical expenses.

His condition requires periodic neurologic attention and medicine to control possible seizures, specific tests to check progress and therapies to leverage neuroplasticity, improve communication and development as he is almost three years old but not crawling yet. In the Dominican Republic, the public insurance that Ocean has does not cover any of the specialized neurological or genetic testing that he needs.

As Ocean grows, it has become difficult to take him to appointments by motorcycle. We are looking to lease or purchase a car to take him to tests and therapy both in Las Terrenas and Santo Domingo.

We are also trying to arrange travel to the United States or Argentina to find the best professionals to attend to Ocean's rare condition.
