Hi everyone My name is Max Paga I am a junior at Folsom high school. My rugby team Granite Bay Rugby club is traveling down to New Zealand this spring break to compete against some of the best High School teams in the world. This will be a great opportunity for myself and my teammates to get better as a team. As part of my fundraising I wanted to give back to my own community. I attended Manurewa Intermediate  school in 2018 as a year 8 where I learned alot about my heritage and made some great friends. Manurewa intermediate is one of the best intermediate schools in NZ while being at a decile 1 level. This means that it is below the poverty line. I wanted to give half of the fundraising I get to go to my old school for supplies or funds to support the school. Then I will bring over supplies and funding from the states and give it to them when I down in NZ. Having gone to Manurewa Intermediate and Manurewa High School this means a lot to me because of what the Manurewa community has given me and holds a special place in my heart.
