Noble is a miniature therapy horse who has touched so many in his almost 5 years of life.
There are assisted living facilities and nursing homes that specifically request Noble out of our 4
miniature horses when we visit. They line the entranceway and halls of the facility and call out
his name, smiles on their faces and laughter filling the air. Noble follows children around like a
puppy and has the sweetest disposition.
He is at the hospital now with a blockage in his large intestine. When the vet asked if surgery
was an option, I had to say no because we can’t afford it. We are a small nonprofit that has
been hit hard by COVID. Our main therapeutic riding horse had a twisted large intestine in
October and needed emergency surgery which was more than $10,000. We had to take it out
of our personal savings and it has not been replaced. We just can’t do that again.
