Fundraiser for "Naked"- A Student Short Film

Hello! My name is Daniela Rojo, and I am an aspiring film director and student currently in my final year of Video Design and Production at George Brown College. As the writer and director, I am delighted to say that my thesis short film NAKED has been selected by industry professors to be brought to the big screen! I have been lucky enough to assemble a talented and FULLY FEMALE crew to shoot this whimsical yet important coming-of-age film that will hopefully speak to generations of young women to come. This film is important to us students, not only for its content and creativity but also for its significance as one of the kickstarters in our film careers and industry post-graduation. Therefore, it would be of great favour to our team for a helping hand in financing this costly production. Any and all donations of any size would be greatly appreciated and will help cover costs such as crew transportation, craft services, wardrobe, props, location permits and equipment rental. ABOUT THE FILM:

NAKED is a coming-of-age drama-comedy about a 17-year-old girl named Alanna who meets up with an older boy for sex out of pure desperation and pressure to be sexually experienced. However, she soon discovers that losing her virginity won’t be as easy as she thought. Not only is she not mentally ready whatsoever, but also, she discovers her vagina can talk - literally. It has a voice. With the guidance and wisdom from her new sidekick in between her legs, Alanna finds the courage to be truthful and vocal about her own needs and learns to look within herself for her own validation and acceptance.
