al Salam Alaykum,

I am reaching out with a heart full of pain and hope. I am in desperate need of your help to save my two beloved brothers, who are both fighting for their lives. My youngest brother, only 5 years old, is battling blood cancer and severe epilepsy. Every day, his fragile body grows weaker, and the doctors tell us that his survival depends on urgent treatment that we cannot afford. My older brother is also in a life-or-death struggle, fighting brain cancer. He, too, needs surgery, but the cost is far beyond what we can manage.

This pain is compounded by the fact that we lost our father when we were very young, and we have grown up without his love and guidance. Our extended family took everything he left behind, and we were left with nothing but the will of Allah. Since then, my mother has struggled to care for us, but her health has also deteriorated. She was in a terrible accident that left both her legs broken, and now she, too, is in desperate need of medical treatment that we cannot afford.

I’ve carried the weight of this responsibility since I was a child. Despite my best efforts to help my family, we are drowning in debt—over 1,000,000 Egyptian pounds (about 15,700 GBP)—because my mother had to settle my father’s financial obligations. As an 18-year-old student in the UK, I feel so helpless, unable to work or even be with my family in their time of need. The distance between us is unbearable, and my heart aches every day knowing my mother is suffering so much.

If anything were to happen to her, I wouldn’t be able to clear her debts, and the thought of her enduring this pain without any relief is too much to bear. The weight of it all is crushing, and every night I pray to Allah for mercy, for a way to save my family from this nightmare.

I am asking for your help, no matter how small. Even a small contribution would be a lifeline to us. Your generosity would give my brothers a chance at life, bring hope to my mother’s heart, and give me the strength to keep going. I believe, with all my heart, that Allah will reward you for any support you give.

My father was a man of great kindness, a man who built homes, villages, and mosques to help those in need. My dream is to honor his memory by building a mosque in his name, a legacy that will continue to benefit him in the afterlife. I wish to clear his debts, which weigh heavily on my heart, and offer him peace in his grave.

I have sought help from others, but so far, no one has been able to assist us. I am willing to provide proof of everything, insha’Allah. Any remaining funds will be used to create sadaqah jariyah—ongoing charity—for my father and mother, so they may receive blessings in the hereafter.

The pain I feel is unimaginable, but Alhamdulillah, I still have hope. I am holding on to the belief that with your help, we can change the course of my family’s future.
