I am Margie Scoby, being the Founder and President of Finding Our Roots African American museum my passion and desire for this place is beyond measure. This project was not a call of man, but one of God.  On August 29th Hurricane Ida destroyed Terrebonne Parish, and the museum sustained damages; shingles were ripped off the roof, window panes were broken, and water entered the building. We are now in the process of removing furniture, pictures, artifacts and historic documents. With your donation it will help make a difference in the restoration of this historic building. Your contribution means so much to us and our community. Please join me in making a difference.
