Hello, my name is Mandy. I am starting this fundraiser for my parents and I'm hoping you can help. As some of you know, my dad had a triple bypass heart surgery after having a STEMI (heart attack) in January. After a long 10 days in the intensive care unit and working with his awesome care team at Nebraska Medicine, he is thankfully home. I'm asking for donations to help my parents with medical expenses, such as my dads medications and rehabilitation as he will not be able to work for quite some time. My mom has taken a lot of time off of work to care for him and take him to follow up appointments/rehabilitation as he hasn't been able to drive himself quite yet. They didn't ask me to do this but I felt like it couldn't hurt to ask for donations to help them pay for expenses. I believe it will help alleviate some stress to the already difficult situation. I'm hoping to reach the $5000 goal by March 19. This is his birthday and also my parents anniversary. Please keep praying for his healing and thank you for any donation you can offer.
