Hi friends! I created this fundraiser to raise money for my dad's new puppy, Misty, who is in need of multiple surgeries. Misty is the newest addition to the pack, and even though my dad currently has 4 other rescue dogs, he knew he needed to give her a safe home and a chance to thrive. Unfortunately, soon after adopting her he learned that she was suffering from Osteochondritis Dissecans (OCD) in her shoulders, causing her to be in a lot of pain. In order to help her, she requires surgery that costs up to $7,200. In addition to OCD, Misty, also has hip dysplasia in both hips. An additional surgery (a femoral head and neck ostectomy) is required to fix her right hip. This surgery will cost up to $5,800. The tests alone to determine what was going on has already cost $4,000. I'm hoping to raise money to help my dad pay for these surgeries. He said that even though she's in pain, she is so sweet and loving. He wants to give her the best life and refuses to give up on her, no matter the cost. She is only a puppy and deserves a chance to live a pain free life. Thank you!
