Fundraiser for Miso's Bladder Stone Surgery

Hi everyone!

Thank you for taking the time to follow Miso's story. I met her at a friend's family graduation party and after asking the typical,

"She's soo cute! How old is she?!" I was met with a very unexpected,

"Do you want her? If not we're planning on getting rid of her", and thus, I ended up going home with a dog that night.

After three rounds of dirty brown water, a capstar, and many trips to the pet store, she was all set to settle into the house. I scheduled her for a vet visit just to make sure everything checked out to get her spayed and unfortunately the vet came back with the bad news that they could feel two large bladder stones in the pubic area. I've been calling so many different clinics and I've been quoted $4000-6000 as an estimate for the cost of the exams, diagnostics, surgery, and anesthesia which is just really outside my budget right now. I had even signed her up for pet insurance as soon as I got her, but unfortunately there is a 14 day waiting period before they're willing to cover anything and we're only 4 days in.

When I rescued her this past Saturday I was expecting the usual costs that comes with having a new dog such as vet visits and vaccinations, but I was not ready for the vet to tell me that she has two large bladder stones warranting surgery urgently after less than a week of bringing her home.

I'd really appreciate any and all donations in any amount. If you know me at all, you'd know that I'd usually never do this, but I just really need the help to get Miso the life saving surgery that she needs.
