My name is Aida Sanchez, I am a family friend for many years, in common we share our beautiful children, friendship, love and respect for each other.
I am reaching out to ask for help, as Mike is getting a critical inguinal hernia surgery in Florida next week on June 24th that cannot be covered by insurance. As a super hard working business owner, and dedicated, loving father of 4, the timing of this comes at a challenging moment where Mike's business is just starting to take off and all his children are home for summer. Still, the urgency of this procedure cannot wait any longer. Mike was very adverse to asking for support, being that he is a leader for so many and didn't want to derail from helping others.
I insisted we make a call out to his beautiful, supportive community and re-assured him that you all would be understanding. The procedure he is having done is very specialized and only a few doctors around the nation perform it, (originating from world renowned professor Dr. Mohan Desarda of India). Including airfare, hotel stay, car rental, and basic travel expenses for 3 days, totaling $5,000.
My intention is to help Mike and Robin financially so that they can focus on his procedure and recovery and not be concerned about money during this sensitive time.
As you may know, Mike is very physically active as a basketball player and coach for his son's team, a natural builder, a dancer, an educator, and an emcee performer, and unfortunately this critical procedure can not be delayed any longer.
