Fundraiser for Michelle Knuckles

Michelle Knuckles, an Atlanta-office Assistant who joined the Firm 2 years ago with Mike Athans, was diagnosed last week with a brain tumor.  Surgery revealed it is glioblastoma, the same cancer as John McCain.  It is a non-curable, fast growing disease.  Michelle has worked with Mike for nearly 20 years.  Her condition is expected to deteriorate rapidly.


Michelle is not married.  She has a 19 year-old daughter.  Recuperative care is being provided by Michelle’s Sister near Columbus, GA, where the extended family resides.  The family has limited financial means, and with many colleagues asking how they can help, we established a fund-raiser to help the family with medical expenses and other immediate needs.

 Please keep Michelle and her family in your thoughts and prayers.  This medical issue was sudden and unexpected.  Thank you.
