DV Survivor Fighting For Me & My Babies Freedom!

Hi,

My name is Brittany Berryhill, and I am the mother of 2 sweet amazing babies and my children were given to my abuser, I have been harassed, stalked, sabotaged, threatened, and found illicit pictures of myself online that were taken without my consent. I left in August of 2022 after fearing for me and my children's lives and found out I was not the only woman that had suffered the same abuse and fearing of their lives.

In an effort to protect my kids I obtained a protective order that was dropped for my children by my exes attorney who actually is connected to my family. Shortly after I had to obtain a protective order from my emotionally and mentally abusive father to stop him from repeatedly contacting me despite several efforts of asking him to stop and to leave me and my kids and those around me alone. Of which he did not. I have had my ex husband and my father both targeting me, reaching out to people in my life trying to sabotage my reputation, my career, my mental wellbeing, my kids safety, & our lives. I have been unable to financially survive as they’ve tried to sabotage every stream of income & second job I’ve gotten by showing up where I work or by creating chaos making work challenging. 

My children ended up disclosing abuses they've endured at the hands of their father & as of September 2023 were given to their abuser after I had found video footage of their fathers attorney attempting to break into my real estate office a mile up the street the same night I did not send them to visitation for fear for their lives. I had gone on a Thursday evening to turn in the footage to police and my children were taken the next morning at an emergency custody hearing without warning or any actual evidence and I was escorted out of the room. I had police reports and video footage and recordings of the death threats made by their father after one of the visitations. We were simply existing and trying to stay safe.

We reported to police, attorneys, had witnesses to make sure I was doing the right thing & not over thinking, and so much more. Since having my children taken I have been harassed -- by my father, by the court, by judges, by individuals down the hall from my place of residence, my business, and so much more. It has had serious financial implications as I have spent around $60,000 culmatively since I left in costs related to trying to leave including AirBNBs, new clothes for me and my kids (left with 2 duffle bags), attorneys, GALs, Psychiatrists for EFEs, new furniture, therapy, doctors appointments, new phones due to hacking, and so much more.

With the harassment it has put me in a very bad position I never thought I would be in. I have had an Eviction filed and am needing help as quickly as possible. I have picked up a 2nd job and have reached out and applied for as much assistance was possible and borrowed from friends, but Im behind the 8 ball as my ex-husband illegally claimed my children on taxes 2 years in a row and I was depending on those funds to make it to the next Real Estate sale. With all of this chaos,  It has put me in a very critical position. My credit score has tanked from a 720 to a 412 since last October with 11 years of perfect payment history. I need help to get myself in a place where I can sell my vehicle and get a cheaper one or move into a more affordable place but cannot do that with this eviction that will be enforced next Thursday 5/30/24, my credit is not in a position to where I would be able to... I am trapped despite making more money then I have ever made in my life they have drained me of all of that... as a means to destabilize and harass me further. I am working on as many solutions as I can but need help getting to a more affordable situation so they cannot completely sabotage me. 

Please help me make it through this hurdle so I can keep fighting back. I would be forever grateful. I have to stay strong so I can keep fighting for my babies & for justice against the corruption of our system here in Tulsa!
