Fundraiser for Maya

Maya has been found!!! She was wandering around Burnaby mountain and wandered into a neighborhood this morning where she hung out with some cool dog people at their house until we picked her up. We are so ecstatic and overjoyed!!! Thanks so much for all of your support!!

We’re increasing the goal amount because we are going to need to add more hours to the infrared drone, and we’ve been advised that we will probably need to take her to the vet for an exam if and when we find Maya.

As most of you are probably aware by now, we lost our precious little Maya at Barnet Marine Park on Friday, April 7th. Maya was having the time of her life playing at the off-leash dog area, swimming and just having a great time, when a very loud train approached and spooked her. She went into fight or flight response and literally ran for her life, and no one has seen her since. Over the past two days, with the help of countless volunteers, we have thoroughly searched the surrounding area but still no sightings. We are devastated; a third of our family is missing and we are inconsolable. We are emotionally and physically exhausted.

We are looking for funds to cover the expenses of hiring an infrared drone tracking company, as well as to cover search expenses such as supplies and printing and laminating posters. Any help would be so appreciated.
