Fundraiser for Matt Walsh

And what happens if unexpected life challenges arise? You set a new goal; a quest for healing!

Many of us are struggling to navigate this tumultuous time, yet we continue to find comfort in community. In this season of giving, Barrios Martial Arts wants to show our love and support to BJJ coach Matt Walsh. 

Matt has experienced a series of health concerns that have led to several surgeries. When faced with these unexpected circumstances, he embodies the importance of being grounded in purpose  by pursuing a Doctorate in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the Pacific College of Health and Sciences. With this degree, he hopes to give back by providing care to the community–a value so deeply rooted in his teaching practice. 

We’ve created this GoFundMe with hopes to raise $10,000 for Matt’s living and medical expenses, and college fees. With plans to move from the Bay to the PCHS campus in San Diego on January 1, 2021, your generosity ensures that our amazing coach continues to heal and thrive in abundance as he pursues his graduate degree (shoutout to the class of 2026!).
