The children of our beloved friend, Cynthia DeFelice Lasher (Cindy), have suffered a heartbreaking, compound loss. With heaviest hearts we share that the boys’ father, David Lasher (57) died unexpectedly at home a few days ago. As many of you know, the family just lost eldest brother Jack (24) in December. 

David loved his boys very much, but unfortunately he passed before he was able to put life insurance or other financial provisions in place for their future. Cindy is doing her best to shoulder these responsibilities as a single working mom. 

Matt (21) attends Saddleback College as a Computer Science major and Bo (19) attends Golden West College where he plays water polo and studies Political Science. Both boys hope to be able to transfer to 4-year colleges as Jack, who was a student at UCLA, did.

The combined effect of the losses is devastating. With the family’s consent we started this GoFundMe so those of you who wish to join us in supporting Matt and Bo can make a donation that will help mitigate the financial impact now and into the future as they continue their education.
