Fundraiser for Marilyn Rutledge

Those who have the privledge of knowing Marilyn, know that she's incredibly generous with both her time and acts of service for others - always ensuring it's genuine, heartfelt and personalized.

During this season she would prefer to be planning special events for both her coworkers and family- but instead she is very much in need of the same kindnesses she so freely gives.

On 11/19 while visiting her new grandson in Big Sky, MT- Marilyn fell down the stairs- shattering the bones in her right leg, elbow and left hip.

She was airlifted to a level 1 trauma center, three hours away in Billings, MT where she has had two surgeries to stabilize those injuries.

She is currently there along with her son and daughter, who are assisting with facilitating care and organizing getting her back to Washington.

She's going to need to be hospitalized and then in rehabilitative care for many months. Ideally that hospitalization and rehabilitation should be in Washington.

Due to her exisiting mobility issues/chronic pain prior to these injuries, this could lengthen the time involved for healing and the need for care.

In particular with the holidays approaching the idea of her being isolated away from her friends and family is not ideal for recovery.

Unfortunately the cost to get her home is daunting as she can't just take a commercial flight or be driven and it's not covered by insurance.
