Fundraiser for Margaret Rose's Aneurysm

Hi, my name is Margaret Rose (Bennett) and I am asking for donations to save my life.

Approximately 5-1/2 years ago, while I was having a cholestrol check of my arteries, I was diagnosed with an ascending aortic aneurysm, which is an abnormal bulging and weakening in the aorta at the point before the curve. So I had to get tested to see how big it was. I had an ultrasound and CT Scan. From the Ultrasound it was discovered that I have a bi-cuspid heart valve, which is an aortic valve that contains only two cusps (or flaps) instead of three, which made it worse, because my valve was starting to leak a bit, but the doctor did not want to replace the valve unless it got leakier, because of the aneurysm. I was told that my chest would need to be cut open because of the location of the aneurysm, so he wanted to wait as long as possible to replace the valve.

I was pretty much in shock, because I nearly died at the age of 15 when I got hit by a car that was going 50mpr. I was flown to shock trauma at Johns Hopkins Hospital where they did not expect me to live. I did survive this horrible accident and went on to lead an active, productive, good life, to now be faced with this news.

I lost my job over a year ago and haven't been able to find one. I'm still looking for a job, but I need to address this issue before something devistating happens to me.

I am on medication for hi-triglycerides so I needed to have an annual exam, which I had in January 2023. My Dr requested that I have a lung cancer screen done, because I lost my dad several years ago due to lung cancer. She advised me to contact the health department. I contacted them and they would do a screening (at no cost), because of my employment situation. Before the screening process I was asked if I have any heart issues and I told them about the aneurysm. I did notice the machine for the lung screen was the same kind of machine that originally dectected my aneurysm.

My result for the lung screen came back great, no cancer, but they were also able to see the aneurysm and they said that it is getting bigger and needs to be checked by a cardiologist specialist.

Unfortunately, I do not have any health insurance. That is why I am begging for your help in any way that may be possible. My aneurysm is growing (it went from 4.7cm to 5.1cm) and I am going to the doctor's tomorrow. I don't have the funds to pay for what is ahead of me. I am going to die without the money that I need for the surgery, so that is why I'm asking, begging for your help.
