For months now Mango has had difficulty holding her urine and she would unintentionally go around the house. Initially I thought she was being disobedient but when the problem kept reoccuring I realized that there must be a medical explanation for her incontinence. Yesterday, I knew I had to take her to the vet because I could tell she was suffering. She would constantly hunch over in pain trying to urinate. Her eyes were bloodshot and her tongue purple in hue.
Last night we were able to see a vet after hours of waiting and she informed me that Mango needs to do bloodwork and x-rays at once. The vet confirmed that she has an infection and also found four large stones (picture above) in her bladder that needed to be removed. Mango went into surgery immediately and she is now recovering at the veterinary care center. Thankfully, she will be better after 2 weeks of recovery.
Throughout the years Mango has been a loving, happy and loyal dog to everyone who has crossed her path, especially me. I am so grateful that she will be back to her happy and healthy self again soon. Unfortunately, all of her medical expenses are out of my budget at the moment. It will help us tremendously if you can help donate any amount. All of your contributions will go towards her tests, x-rays, surgery and any medication she will need.
Mango and I greatly appreciate your love, concern and help. <3
