My name is Maneesh Pant. I came to Canada with my family (wife and two kids) in 2022. In September 2023, my parents arrived here to visit us on a super visa.

Unfortunately, my father suffered a severe heart attack on March/24th. Since then, he is in critical condition in ICU in Burnaby Hospital and waiting to get operated/bypass surgery done.

I did take Manulife Insurance with $100K coverage for my father. As he is waiting to get a date for the surgery, the hospitals bills are piling up like anything and I am sure the expenses will likely end up going beyond~$500K.

I am badly stuck despite taking a reasonably good insurance. I am the only earning member in the family here and I don’t see other way out than reaching out to the community for help.

Every help counts. Keeping fingers crossed with hope.
