Let's make Malia's hopes and dreams come true!!
This week the Jusczyk’s worst fears came true as they were told that Malia’s neuroblastoma has returned. In 2011, Malia was diagnosed with a stage four, high risk aggressive childhood cancer known as neuroblastoma. After numerous surgeries and chemotherapy rounds, Malia had been declared No Evidence of Disease . Malia's parents dedicated their lives to helping other kids with pediatric cancer and set up a non-profit charity called For Kids Sake Foundation. They raise and donate close to $100,000 each year in grants to families that need help with high costs of medical care, as well as to the medical trials that have proven to save children’s lives.
Malia Jusczyk is a vibrant, happy, friendly and lovable 6th grader who enjoys soccer, basketball, baking and spending time with friends & family. Her kindness, bravery & friendship is felt by not just her close friends, but by entire communities. Most recently, her love for baking turned into Zoom baking classes where she collected donations for pizza parties for her sports team. Her selflessness is undeniable and no doubt shows the genuine nature of giving, instilled by her parents Meg & Glen.
Our fundraising efforts are focusing on fulfilling Malia's hopes and dreams for the future. One of those dreams includes a dream kitchen in order to pursue her love of baking. Even at this moment she is designing her kitchen and it is helping her stay focused while she is getting her first treatments. Let's all come together to help provide her with everything her heart needs!!
