Fundraiser for Liz Ellis

Donation protected
I am writing this for our dear, sweet Liz, who has been going through such a difficult, painful time these last few weeks in the hospital. As most of you know Liz was admitted to the hospital on December 28th with stomach issues. This led to sepsis and other complications.

After several weeks of monitoring and care, blood transfusions, surgery, physical and occupational therapy, we thought she was on the mend, and would be coming home. Every day we got our hopes up that this would be the day she'd get discharged. However, her white blood count never came down to where it should be. This led to further observation from her doctors who determined she had an abscess and a perforation in her bladder. This was much more serious and she needed to be transported to a more intensive hospital with advanced specialists to hopefully rectify these new issues.

This has been an incredibly trying time for this family, with her beloved husband, Butch, never leaving her side, despite his own health issues. Her dear children, Josh, David and Chelsea, Ashley and Nick, are all here as well, and we are just beside ourselves at all she has endured so far, and what is to come. Yet, we all know she is so strong, and a fighter, and surrounded by the love and power of God.

As you can imagine after weeks of intensive care in 2 hospitals, with surgeries and teams of doctors, the medical bills are stacking up quickly. With all the time off so family can visit, and Liz no longer able to work, this has put incredible financial strain on this dear family.

Anyone who knows Liz, knows she is the most caring, selfless, Godly woman, who welcomes others into her home, prays over you, and always asks what she can do to help. She is a beloved wife of 50 years, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to so so many. I myself have experienced this immense love firsthand over the years, and feel so blessed to be considered one of her adopted kids. Now it is time for us to give back to her, in any way we can. Please keep our dear Liz in your prayers, and if you are able, please donate to help with the financial burden that has been laid on this family.
