(I have updated the goal after realizing how many expenses are coming in and the mounting costs to continue with treatment and daily living.) My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer several months ago. He is going through chemotherapy and multiple medical procedures due to complications of fluid accumulation on his body.  My mom and dad are wonderful people who have always been an integral part of the community and love their friends and family. This medical crisis has taken a devastating toll on them financially. The stress is overwhelming and they are struggling to take care of my dad on top of it all.  I want to help them by doing this fundraiser to alleviate some of the strain in their lives so my dad can focus on getting better and my mom can have some relief as well.
