Fundraiser For Keo Curry's Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
As many of you have learned over the last couple of days our friend and hero Keo Curry passed away unexpectedly Sunday night. His impact to the world was immeasurable and far reaching. Keo was an innovator and pioneer in the world of cycling and was a huge inspiration for an entire generation of people getting on bikes. The world lost a legend, a kindhearted soul who would always do whatever he could to brighten others lives with words of encouragement, positivity or his signature laugh. He is gone but not forgotten as legends never die.
I spoke with Keo's father and got his permission to put this fundraiser together. I know we as a community could help show support for Keo and ease some of the financial burdens related to final expenses and funeral costs for his family.
If any of Keo's friends would like to attend the funeral it will be on Saturday, September 14th from 9-10AM at Universal Mortuary Service, 411 Kennedy St. NW, Washington, DC 20011
Also, I encourage you all to send Keo's family a card or note letting them know what he meant to you. Please send your letters to: The Curry Family, 2609 Buckner Lane, Temple Hills, MD 20748
All funds raised will be passed on to Keo's Dad, Gregory Curry, for Keo's final expenses and funeral costs. Please feel free to share this as broadly as possible.
