My name is Maja Hart, and I am a close friend of Kathleen Zumpano and her husband James.  It is with a heavy heart that I inform those who do not know – James unexpectedly passed away last Sunday night. At the time he was seeking treatment at a rehabilitation facility in Mexico. Sadly due to the pandemic, Kathleen will not be able to travel to Mexico to say her final goodbyes.  James will be cremated before being returned home to his family.   

James leaves behind Kathleen and their three-year-old daughter Mara.   I have started this GoFundMe page to help with the expenses associated with bringing James home.  It is also to start a savings fund for Mara.  Without James, Kathleen will now be Mara’s sole provider.  I would like to raise enough money to help alleviate some of the stress and uncertainty that she will face in the days, weeks, months and years to come.
