Fundraiser for Karen Dean and her son Hunter

Karen Dean is a single mother of 3 who has always been the first to step forward and help others during their time of need.  As a community, it is now our turn to step forward and help her as she cares for her son Hunter who has recently been diagnosed with cancer.

Hunter is a hard working teenager who spends every moment he is able working at his job on a local dairy farm. He is a strong person who has already overcome many obstacles - so it is not surprising that he is remaining optimistic and positive about the journey ahead of him, even though it is scary and unknown.

He will begin an intense chemo regimen next week and will likely have to endure radiation immediately following. He has a rough road ahead and his mother will be with him, and caring for him, every step of the way.

As you can imagine, there is a cost associated with this battle and no one should have to worry about finances during a time like this. As a community who has seen and experienced the generosity given by this family, we ask you to join us as we gather around them and provide them with some financial assistance that will allow them to focus on what really matters.
